lol. My first flash parody. Now my life is complete. XD
After the (Surprising) success of my sprite series. I was wondering when someone would make fun of it. Now it puts it up there with the likes of Tankmen and Toof. Thanks for that. XD
And yes. I guess there is a fair bit of talking in the series. But I wanted to get all the back stories out the way so I can make more room for the fight sequences later in the series.
But anyway. Cutting to the chase. that was some funny shit. If Tom gives me my own section for the series, i'll be sure to add it to the collection. XD

Graphics-8: Pretty good use of sprites. Nice sprites special effects and explosions. But the scrolling Backgrounds need work.

Style-9: Very much like SQFP (Which i'm a fan of) The story is pretty interesting and the fights are fast paced, but is slightly hampered by the slowdown.

Sound-6: Some sounds and music were crisp and easy to listen to, while some weren't.

Violence-8: Plenty of it. But needed blood for a 10. (Although I don't like adding it to my animations).

Interactivity-3: For the play buttons and scene select.

humor-5: Some funny bits, but not laugh out loud funny.

Overall 10: There are a few things to improve on, but i'm sure you'll do it with more practice. Keep it up.

And it's true that the simplest of sprite animations do get front page. (Even though I make them myself). ^^;

Personally, I would have submitted this to the alphas section on NG, since nothing really happened during the trailer. But I did like the music.

That was damn funny. XD And only after watching it through frame by frame did I get to see all the jokes.

But the part when Matt was talking with the messenger windows appearing behind him was informative as well.
I do agree that it's wrong that a well animated flash which a lot of work went into often gets a lower score than a video game sprite movie that was made within a day. But I guess people just enjoy those sort of things more.
Even I don't think sprite movies should score as high, and I actually make sprite movies. (Although I hope to move onto fbf in the future).
But anyway. other than that, I thought this was hilarious. Hope to see more flashes from you in the future.

The sprites were not bad, But Hell Shadow looked pretty awesome.
I would try to improve on the special effects though. (Less Flash made graphics). I will try to help you in that department.

Original concept. Interesting storyline. It's building up to something pretty big.

Sound: 6
DBZ sound effects rock (Even if they are overused) But the music loops need work.

Violence: 8
I hope to see more SQFP style fights in the next episode.

Interactivity: 5
For the ability to go to the scene select during the movie.

Humour: 6
Some bits made me chuckle, but it wasn't laugh out loud funny.

Will you idiots who think this is blatant rip off of DBZ stop your complaining. If you want to complain, take your argument to SEGA since they are the ones who used so many ideas from the anime.

Sorry about that. I'm fortunate that I don't get complaints like that since my sprite flashes are DBZ parodies.
But enough about that. Onto the review.

I think all that work really paid off. I want to break into fpf animation one day and it's animations like these that inspire me.
The sound effects were great. And so were the voices. (Although I can only really give you credit for Nazos voice since that wasn't used from a game).
But it's the action that always draws me in. Although in my opinion you can try to cut the chatting to a minimum unless it's relevent to the story. But that's only a minor complaint.
Overall, good job. This is going into my favourites.
Keep up the good work. <D
