Don't hate me, but I actually preferred the ending in this one compared to the original. Guess I wasn't too fond of the "everyone dies" scenario.
I lol'd at the part where Mario and Luigi were flailing their arms at each other.

It was funny during the first one, but if you're planning on making this for all 493 pokemon, I would suggest adding a lot more variety to each episode.
If you are just making this out of boredom or for shits and giggles, by all means continue, but don't expect people to stay interested past the 3rd one.

lol. Seems like a few people are jumping on the whole Mario/DBZ bandwagon since I started working on SMBZ.
What with Nintegaball GT, Chaosball Z, Chaos Emerald Z and now Mario Ball Z being made alongside my series, it's gonna be hard for fans of this concept to watch them all. ^^;
As for the animation itself, it was actually pretty good. Much better animated than my first episode of SMBZ. I've noticed the story fits closer to DBZ than mine which is prominently a Mario parody.
I liked the addition of humour to the episode as well. (Lol, mario struggling with the 10x gravity. XD).
The action sequences were well animated as well. I'm gonna have to work hard to keep one step ahead. XD
Anyway, well done with this episode. Glad to see I've inspired sprite lovers across NG.

Glad to see there are more people besides me and Proxicide doing justice to sprite movies. Awesome work with the action and great use of the surroundings in the battle. 5'd. =D
btw. I noticed in an earlier review that you plan on making a Venom vs Spidey flash, which is a pity because I was planning on making one after I finished SMBZ ep 6. I even ripped the spidey sprites I was gonna use myself. (You can see the sheet on Spriters Resource).
I'm not sure if I should bother with it now if you're gonna make one. Either that we can try to collaborate on it?
It's your choice though.

Quite a good soundboard actually, maybe I can link people to this so they stop bothering me about where I got my DBZ sounds from. XD
Although, I must admit the section with blasts and sounds is kinda lacking. Maybe I can hook you up to the huge library i've got?

Awesome work on this! I remember seeing the early version. Good to see you finally finished it.
The fighting was intense. And those special effects were Awesome.
You deserved a higher award. But at least you got on the front page. =D

Great work with the sprite fight. I know i've still got much to learn when it comes to intense one on one fighting. XD
Although i've never watched Naruto in my life, and I don't know who the characters are or what they're capable of. It was still a pretty enjoyable flash.

Another great movie, Daniel. Believe it or not it was your first 2 episodes (amongst a few others) that inspired me to make Super Mario bros Z. (not ball Z).
I read the commentary too. Glad I motivated you to finish this. Although the stab at my humour wasn't necessary? =\ (ah well. Shit happens. XD).
I am still learning about what makes a good sprite fight so I study your animations every time for inspiration. Along with Sonics quest for power and Dragonball POTU.
But enough about my stuff. Onto yours. I really enjoy the 3D elements. I'm still trying to learn that stuff. But you definately pulled it off. And I do enjoy the kung fu moments plus the battle above the lava. Good stuff.
Now i'm motivated myself to get ep 6 of my series done. Hopefully I can make something half as good as this.

:P hey! i didnt no you were insprited from my moves XD. Must say after I saw MBZ ep 4 I think, I was modivated even though it was DBZ inspired. Not a fan of dbz personally. Your animation is great man, but I actuly have a hate for the humor, sorry ta say :S.
I cant really give you my advise casue its bias. Id say make it less DBZish but it is caled mario ball "Z" after all. So i guess.... make it MORE DBZish XD
I must say I respect you as a person. I was reading few your reviews. Some guy gave ya some shit. you were like "Everyone has their own opinions"

lol. My first flash parody. Now my life is complete. XD
After the (Surprising) success of my sprite series. I was wondering when someone would make fun of it. Now it puts it up there with the likes of Tankmen and Toof. Thanks for that. XD
And yes. I guess there is a fair bit of talking in the series. But I wanted to get all the back stories out the way so I can make more room for the fight sequences later in the series.
But anyway. Cutting to the chase. that was some funny shit. If Tom gives me my own section for the series, i'll be sure to add it to the collection. XD
