Man... Now that was some awsme stuff around here. I felt like I was watching an anime episode. Great work man, keep it up. But please, dont screw the storyline if you're gonna re-make the whole series, that's all I say.

I understand all of what you mention and although I wouldn't want to argue with it, I have to share a few points. I think the Mecha Sonic sprite was good. It made sense, and looked well with how Metal sonic would look. The Metallix being the final form is a perfect idea if you ask me. I understand the pipe maze but think you could maybe do something with the 8-bit thing? That was amazing! The Captain Basilisx thing well...It was perfect! You don't really need much background to a character even though i understand you feel you do. But! A character like that, who comes in with a goal, is close to completing it but ends up failing (and maybe dying) is all you need for a character and Basilisx fit the part perfectly. I think he should stay for his 1 and only episode or as a cliff hanger as you did before. All in all, i agree with most of what you are doing, I feel not too much of it needs to change. Thank you for reading if you did, your animation has inspired me, and your story line as well. Thank you for an awesome series.
Wow, if I knew more about sprite animation, I would totally ask to help! I'll be a dedicated fan to the end, so I'll do my best to support the series where ever it goes. Also, It wouldn't be bad if you somehow kept Captain Basilisx. Maybe he would be one of the Koopa's Bowser burned severely because of insubordination of some kind and now want revenge. He changes his form due to the accident. Him and Mecha Mario's build up wouldn't under mind each other imo. Do what you feels right though, I'm just offering my suggestions here.

Please keep Basilisx (but just add a backstory for him) and don't remove the Pipe Maze episode, it was usefull because they still found an Emerald in the "Minus World". The Metallix idea is pretty good, though so I support the idea (he's more badass than Mecha Sonic).
I would love to see you revive Super Mario Bros. Z. It was an amazing series. At the same time I don't want to see you revive it from the ground up and we run into this issue of you detesting your fans again in a tantrum. So if you want to George Lucas your creation, then fine go ahead. I'll be there to watch and review all of it.
Well, it's nice to see you're back, bud. It's been a while since I've talked with you. I know I talked with you a bit on FA and MSN messenger a long time ago. I hope you do work on this again. I absolutely loved this whole thing and have been a huge fan of it since the beginning. I agree with your changes completely. Although, I did like the whole Minus World thing since it's a real glitch in the mario games. I did like the Basilisk fight scene, but I did ask myself "Who the hell is this guy?" when he appeared xD
Anyway, As I said, I hope you do continue with this. Remaking the previous episodes would actually be a great idea. If I knew anything about digital animation, which I do know very little, I would help out. Kinda wanted to go to school for it as well as computer tech in general. Keep up the great work, bud! :D

Man, never thought I'd hear about SMBZ again, regardless I'm in favor of whatever you do to the series if anything, the little scene remake from episode one was solid gold, and its so hilarious to go back and compare it to the original. Cool with Mecha changing to Metallix as well, Mecha never really struck me as being a very thought out robot, it just looked hell bent on blowing up everything in sight and not capable of the more complex plans it had in the series on the other hand Metallix has this creepy and plotting vibe to him, maybe it's the eyes idk. Hope the series will have a second wind, but that's completely up to you.
LEt me just say, I have, and will still b a fan of your SMBZ series. I've been there since the beginning, and have been in love with the series from day one. When I heard about that you were laying it to rest because of your passion has dwindled from it, I was crushed, especially the way you left the last episode haha.
But in any oher case, I am glad to hear that you are at least trying to give it another go, even the reanimation was great. Nevertheless I hope that you would still reconsider and still continue on with the project, but still leave the original one up to see where it all came from.

I know you posted that in October and its now February but i just wanted to say that If it takes you another 4 years then so be it. I say this not because I don't like your Super Mario z but because I loved it. And if it takes you another 4 years to get to where you feel you are ready to continue to make this great animated story cross over then it would be worth the wait. Anyone who has given you bad reviews about taking to long or crap about not making it better. They can go Blam themselves. Because You did and have done a great job with it. While Voices would be nice it is not necessary if you choose not to go that route. :-) keep up the good work and I hope one day you can continue and perhaps finish this well made series.
