Your scene looked fantanstic! I am totally fine with whatever decision you make if you choose to reboot the series, and its fine if you dont do it at all.

I would like however, to see a different form of Super Mario, if he and Sonic share a power star (preferably, Mario's clothes turn golden and he looks Saiyan). I would also like to see a higher level of power in Metallix and the other characters (higher than 9000, lol it was a good joke though). Maybe some attacks similar to kamehameha from Mario w/ a powerup.

If you choose not to do any of that, thats ok. Do whatevers comfortable, because either way, I still loved your show and it would be excellent if you decided to reboot it.

As most are I am really happy you are considering a comeback. As a writer I would like to extend my offer that if you would like any ideas for dialouge as I was starting to write the series out any ways.(Hated seeing the story not have an ending.)

When I first saw this series on Youtube I was amazed by your work and yes I do agree on your changes.
You know at first I thought you will quit SMBZ forever and have the stupid fanboys make remakes and just try to continue your series. But I'm really glad your'e bringing the series back, and please don't rush and do not cancel it a second time.
Although I have some questions.....
1. Will you keep the Wart and Ninja Ninjs plot for the Metallix Saga
2. Are you still doing 3 sagas and 1 movie
3. Can you possibly bring in Sonic characters that weren't killed and that you don't hate like Silver. Such as Eggman, Mecha Shadow, or Emerl?

I am so happy you made a comeback buddy. I didn't only miss your series, I also missed your voice man. The remake seems so good. Although, I really like Metallix. Considering Mecha Sonic's body, it was like he lost alot of weight *robotic weight lawl* Anyways, Metallix seems tougher. I am honestly, 1,000% honest with you, the most honest I can be, you are the best animator I have seen in the whole entire world, like I like your series better than any animated flash =D

DDUUUUUUUDDDDEEEEEE!!!! I just checked out your "practice". It was very impressive. Like, srsly. I'm it was short, yes, but it was of a level not seen often. I'd bet it took a long time to make it, and therefore would take a gigantic amount of time to do an entire episode like that. But, if you are able to pull off the same kind of intense combat you did with your previous SMBZ work, and then add that level of graphics and artistrys, you would have the makings of a legend!

I do hope to see more, but.... yeah.... Don't do it if you don't enjoy it.

That said, time for some of my comments to your actual news post

1.) Who the villain is doesn't really matter to me, especially if it is a remake

2.) The pipe maze episode was a great episode IMO. It was one of those lore-heavy episodes that really sells on the fact that this happens in an actual, living world, so to speak. And the 8-bit throwback? Aw, that was really cool. However, I can also see why you would not like it. No doubt it took a very long time to make that very long episode, and it probably wasn't appreciated as much by many fans, who were hoping for more action and less lore. Personal favorite of mine, behind the 3 way battle, of course.

3.) It's not totally bad to have someone just pop up and say "I hate you! Now die!". I think the fact that neither mario nor the audience really knew exactly what he was talking about when he mentioned about his friend. Kinda fulfilled the emotion of being unappreciated and unrecognized. And yeah, it may have kinda distracted us from the main plot and villain of the story, but I kinda felt like that was Bowser's whole plan. And besides, there were plenty of ways you could have brought everything right back to the main plot and villain really quickly if you needed to.

So, all in all, totally love the origional. F'n drooled all over the short remake. Hope to see more, but understands if you can't get into it.

Look man, I''m a fan of your series, I've been seeing it since I was probably like 12 or so. But are you seriously gonna do this remake it after your only three to four episodes away from finishing it, then if you had all this time to do over all these episodes why did you not just finish the other episodes then remake or make a second super mario bros z series, I do respect you as the creator of this series. But all those things that you mentioned that you thought were problems with the series weren't even noted , then you reveal all the plot twists from the other episodes purposely ruining our chance of seeing another episode of the series, now forcing yourself to remake them with a different plot and everything, when they were just fine. I dont know what your going through or now anything about you, but if I can suggest anything it's that you should just try and chill, dont remake the series finish this and make something truly genuine of yourself that expresses your feelings not just a fandom of videogames, not saying that this is not good its really dope but try and be you on your animations so that you''ll be able to take off your chest whatever your feeling and that way you'll be able to keep up with life's everyday struggles. Finish this series and start to make something genuine because I think you have the vision and pasion for that.

I love your work and wont take up your time so i'll make this quick. No artist likes there old work and always wants to improve it. Starting from the start it would take forever and be a huge step back then continuing the story from where it is. And if you did want to take out basilisk you could always remake your most recent episode and keep him out.

I completely disagree with a lot of things you said. I think your original series was awesome just the way it is. The fight scenes have always been my favorite part and I dont see how much better they can really get, cause they are already amazing as they are.

Basilisks to me was just a tough opponent in Bowser's army, nothing more. He dont really need a backstory, just another foe to beat. Nothing wrong with that. Heck, his fight scene is my favorite one so far, it would be a shame to have him removed.

I guess I cant really persuade you as this is what you're determined to do, but I just want you to know that there are still a lot of people like me who love the original series and would love to see it continue from there.

Fantastic. Looking at the two scenes side-by-side would kind of show how much the animation quality has changed from 2006. But I have one question.
If you thought you might be shooting yourself in the foot, then why didn't you bring first aid? Safety first!
Oh, and uh, just do what YOU want. Those dumb motherfuckers that bitch about this and the cancellation? They're just mad because it might not be what THEY want. Fuck those motherfuckers.

I really think you should continue off on the last episode and save Mecha Sonic for something else.
Don't get me wrong here, I enjoy the heck out the series and that is one reason I feel you should just continue the story.

Personally, I didn't think that the dialogue was bad. I thought that all of the characters were great, the story was very well written, and the action scenes were phenomenal.

It would be nice to see you come back, but if you won't, then that's okay too I guess; no one should force you to continue if you don't won't to. I just hate seeing amazing stories like this go unfinished.

It was had enough to force myself through the first 8.. especially after how many years it took you to even get to 8 episodes. Then you just axed the whole thing, which is fine seeing as it's 'your' own work. But by the time you finish the entire series I'm probably going to be like 28 years of age. I was 16 when you did your first flash. So I can't say I am really 'psyched' though in 5 years you're still the only flash animator that I would actually bother wasting 60 seconds of my time writing to.
