Oo-de-lally, that was awesome. I'm down with changing Mecha to Metallix, and I can live without Basilisx, I guess. You've got a 15-year old boy ready to beg over here, man.
You have an amazing talent in sprite animation, I am sorry that it was so time consuming for you and eventually lost motivation for you, but no one should decline the ingenuity and creativity you possess, this is one of the best cross overs I had ever seen (speaking from a lifetime of playing Mario and watching Dragon Ball Z) and I was gobsmacked about the whole series, to think an individual created all that, is marvelous and utterly impressive, maybe you should get paid for this, by asking for donations to keep the series going, there is no such thing as 'free lunch' so if we, your fans, really want to keep the series going, we should show our support to you, and commit into helping you out, because this is TRULY one of a kind and no one can do this, maybe they can be close but it will never be that genuine...
I really hope that someday or somehow, you will be able to look deep into yourself and harness the rare talent of yours, a purpose like this can be extremely rewarding in the end, but the journey is such a hard struggle, I wouldn't want you to sway from it and give in to the hard times, but maybe that's wishful thinking, you seem to be more experienced and much more capable to doing more since you were able to revamp the first episode again, but you need to be rewarded for it, we can only do so much but if you want help, ask anyone who has experience in sprite animation, you have people watching you and connecting to you, maybe use that to your advantage...
Anyway, I love what you do and believe it will be your finest masterpiece, it is meaningful to those that matter to them, regardless of what everyone else says, it is a beautiful art and deserves a milestone in your life, thank you for your hard work!
I vote that you should begin the SMBZ series again. And the new intro is GREAT! So much more detail! It seems to be 3D! LOVIN' IT! I just hope you really make the new SMBZ
Gotta admit, remaking the series wouldn't be such a bad idea (that was some badass animation sampling, much better than the original ep. 1), but some of the stuff from previous episodes would benefit greatly to the series reboot. I say go for it, but don't remake EVERYTHING story-wise.

I would love to see this series again. The episode 1 scene 1 Remake looked phenomenal. I agree that Metallix is a more visually appealing choice than the one with Mecha Sonic. Regardless of whether you continue with this project (although I would love it if you did), I hope you will continue animating because you are extremely talented. Good luck and thank you.

Personally i am very excited for this, assuming you do it. Please do this because i think it would be great. But please keep the old series up. I agree with what corksam said, it would be cool if you called it Super Mario Bros Z Kai. Also, this is just a request, can you please put Captain Basilisx in a future arc to where he does fit in the series? I think he is a great character and it would be a shame if you just scrapped him altogether.

the. best. ever. i love it more than the original. but on the subject of the pipe level i liked it a lot and as for it being text heavy isn't dragon ball z dialogue heavy? lol it just gave it that dbz feel that we all loath yet love about it.

I have been following on your series for about 5 years, and was hoping you were going to continue it after you claimed that you pulled the plug.I am so glad that you have decided to see if you may still have the spark and hope that you come back strong on the series.
I honestly liked all the episodes, so if you do consider adding the Pipemaze remember that many fans actually did not hate it and though it was pretty dang good for a filler ;)
Also, if you are planning to revive the series again, how will it take to make the previous and new episodes with your new Flash?
